Dancewave, Inc. is a nonprofit arts organization that offers unique exposure to world-class, pre-professional performing arts training to NYC youth. The Dancewave Company is a dance troupe of teenager dancers selected by audition from all over NYC, and has performed works by Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, Bill T. Jones, Garth Fagan, Susan Marshall, Mark Morris, Donald Byrd, Trisha Brown, Doug Varone, Lar Lubovitch, Christal Brown, Donald McKayle, Meredith Monk, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Tina Vasquez, Sara Pearson/Patrick Widrig, Carla Maxwell (Limon-based), and David Dorfman. They will be representing the US at the 2010 Aberdeen International Youth Festival.
